1. Terms of Use

The following terms have the following meanings in these Terms of Use:

  • “Site”: refers to the www.indeez.eu website and all of its sub-domains.
  • “Application”: refers to the mobile applications published by Indeez, available on iOS and Android.
  • “Services”: refers to all of the services rendered by Indeez to Users on the Platform
  • “Platform”: refers to the contact platform operated by Indeez and accessible from the Application or the Site, enabling Users to avail our Services.
  • “User”: refers either to a customer or an Establishment that uses the Platform. Referred also as “You”, “your”, “yourself”
  • “Paid User”: refers to a User who has paid for the services provided by Indeez
  • “Registered User”: User that has registered on the Indeez Platform with a username and password and verified their account. A Paid User will be automatically registered when the User pays for the Services provided by Indeez.
  • “Paid Agreement”: refers to the services provided by Indeez to Users that agree to pay for, assigned policyholder
  • “Company” – refers to Indeez SAS

Unless required otherwise as a result of the context, terms and definitions stated in the singular include the plural, and vice versa.


“Indeez”: refers to the simplified joint stock company – “Indeez SAS”, listed on the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 888 048 659 and with its head office located at 19 Rue Du Rocher, 75008 Paris France. We are registered with ORIAS under the registration number 20006983 as an Intermediary or Ancillary Intermediary to operate under the freedom to provide services in the European Union.

In the United Kingdom, Indeez is deemed authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The nature and extent of consumer protections may differ from those for firms based in the UK. Details of the Temporary Permissions Regime, which allows EEA-based firms to operate in the UK for a limited period while seeking full authorisation, are available on the Financial Conduct Authority’s website at www.fca.org.uk. Indeez is on the financial services register (https://register.fca.org.uk/) and its firm reference number is 938582

Indeez (‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’) would ask that you take the time to read our Terms of Use carefully as the aim of this document is to outline the terms on which we engage with our Users. These Terms of Use are liable to change from time to time, so we ask you to check on our website for the latest version. We have also added and will amend, the latest updated date for this document as any change is incorporated.

Please ensure that you check these Terms of Use regularly to view any changes which may have been made, because by continuing to use the Site after these Terms of Use have changed, as they will form the basis of a legally binding agreement between Indeez and you.

By accessing our Site or Application you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree to be responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, then you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.

Online Conduct

By accessing the Indeez Site, you agree to abide by the following conduct rules.

You will not:

  1. Use any material or information, including images or photographs, via Indeez in any manner that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party.
  2. Upload files that contain viruses, trojan horses, worms, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another’s computer or property of another, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of computer hardware or software
  3. Institute attacks upon an Indeez platform or otherwise disrupts Indeez.
  4. Use Indeez in connection with surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise).
  5. Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
  6. Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying Indeez services, software or other content.
  7. Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses.
  8. Create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others.
  9. Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Intellectual Property

All information and material including data, images, text, and audio on the Site is the property of Indeez SAS and/or its licensors and is subject to copyright. All trademarks on the Site are the property of Indeez SAS and/or its licensors. You are entitled to view, copy and print any documents from the Site but only for your own internal business purposes. Any sale, transmission or redistribution of the Site or its content, and any copying, modification or other use of the Site or its contents for any purposes other than your own internal business purposes, are strictly prohibited.


All software used on the Site is the property of Indeez SAS or its software suppliers. We hereby grant you a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software we own solely for the purposes permitted under these Terms of Use. Other than to the extent permitted by law, you may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or translate such software.

You acknowledge and understand that certain areas, features and services of the Site are restricted to paid subscribers and/or registered users. Unless you are a paid subscriber and/or registered user, your license to access and use of the Site and Services may be restricted and limited to only those areas, features and services provided at no charge. All rights not herein expressly granted are hereby expressly reserved to Indeez SAS and its affiliates and licensors. Except for the limited rights of access and use granted hereunder, no other right, title or interest to the Services or any intellectual property right pertaining thereto is granted under these Terms of Use.

External Links

Indeez may provide Site Users with hypertext links to access third party websites. Indeez has no control over the content of third party websites and therefore assumes no responsibility for such sites. You agree that Indeez shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any information, goods or services available on or through any such Site. If you decide to access any of the third party Sites linked to Indeez site and all its sub domains, this is at your own risk.

No Warranties

Indeez tries to ensure that all of the information provided on this Site is correct at the time it is included on the Site, but does not make any representation or warranty that the content or information available on this Site is complete, accurate or available or that the services offered on this Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free,. In addition, Indeez does not offer any advice or make any recommendations regarding the Platform or the Services, and accordingly does not warrant or represent that (i) the Services offered on this Site will meet your requirements, demands, needs or expectations or (ii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the Services will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of Liability

Indeez SAS and its shareholders and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss of business, loss of use or of data, interruption of business, lost profits or goodwill, or indirect, special, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages of any kind arising out of these Terms of Use, even if they have been advised of the possibility of such loss and whether or not they had any knowledge, actual or constructive, that such damages might be incurred. This exclusion includes, without limitation, any liability that may arise out of third-party claims against you. Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes a party’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.


You acknowledge that Indeez SAS or its designees has no obligation to monitor your access to or use of the Site, Services or Company Content, but has the right to do so for the purpose of operating the Site and Services, to ensure your compliance with these Terms of Use, or to comply with applicable law or the order or requirement of a court, administrative agency or other governmental or regulatory body. Indeez SAS reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to remove or disable access to any Company Content, Third Party Materials, and any User Submissions, that Company, in its sole discretion, considers to be in violation of these Terms or otherwise harmful to the Site or Services.

During monitoring, information may be examined, recorded, copied, and used for authorised purposes. Use of this Site, authorised or unauthorised, constitutes consent to such monitoring. For more information, please read Your Data and Privacy section.

Data provisioning

Indeez collects and processes Personal Data for the following reasons:

  1. a) where it is necessary for the performance of our Terms of Use with you to provide and deliver our services – this includes information that will be written onto your policy wording
  2. b) where it is necessary for compliance with legal obligations that we are subject to (e.g. our obligations to keep certain information under tax laws);
  3. c) where it is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate and legal interests of Indeez or a third party (e.g. the interests of our other customers), except where such interests are overridden by your prevailing legitimate interests and rights; or
  4. d) where you have given consent to it

We process any personal information that you provide to us via our online forms inline with our Privacy Policies, which includes our cookie policy. There is more information in the Registration and Password section and in Your Data and Privacy section.


We receive commission from insurers and product providers. Any commission we receive will be paid by the insurer or product provider from the total insurance coverage premium. Indeez SAS does not charge any additional fees (payable by User) for handling User’s insurance unless we have agreed these with the User in advance of the transaction.

User is responsible for paying the premium in full up front unless stated otherwise. This payment is non refundable in certain circumstances.

Payments are completely secure on our site thanks to the online payment system of our partner Stripe, a level 1 PCI / DSS certified payment solution (the highest level of security to pay online). The card / bank details the User enters on our platform are encrypted. In addition, they are only processed by Stripe and are never in Indeez SAS’s possession. When you enter your payment card details for your purchases on our platform, you transmit the information to Stripe. You can read Stripe’s documents here:

Cancellation / Termination

You can make a request for the cancellation of a policy anytime. Paid Users have a space dedicated to view their policies and can do this on the Platform.

In the event of cancellation, charges for our services will apply in accordance with the ‘Payments’ section above.

In circumstances where we feel we cannot continue providing services to you, we will contact you and attempt to rectify the situation on no less than two occasions. In situations where the situation is not rectifiable we will inform you of our decision to end the business relationship and this will happen during a discussed time frame dependent on the reason for termination.

Business will not be terminated without first informing the User, the policyholder of the reason for termination.

Valid reasons for termination may include but are not limited to:

    1. Failure to provide requested information or required documents
    2. Deliberate failure to comply with terms set within these Terms of Use or an insurer’s documentation
    3. Deliberate misrepresentation or non-disclosure or attempted fraud
    4. Use of threatening or abusive behaviour or language, or intimidation or bullying of our staff / suppliers
    5. Indeez has reason to believe that it would be unlawful to continue doing business with you or to make or receive any payments to or from you

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, if our relationship ends, any transactions previously initiated will be completed according to our Terms of Use.

You will be liable to pay for any transactions concluded prior to the end of our relationship unless stated otherwise.

Indeez SAS reserves the right to deny User access and use of the Site and/or supply of the Services at the same time as terminating the agreement between us. The sections Payments, No Warranties, Limited Liability, Indemnity, Cancellation/Termination and General shall survive the termination of these Terms of Use.


  1. Indeez reserves the right to make changes to this Site and these Terms of Use at any time.
  2. We have the right to change these Terms of Use and we will always give you reasonable notice of any changes. Please refer to the Website or App for our latest copy of these Terms of Use.
  3. You are responsible for regularly checking for emails from us and to ensure our emails are not sent to a junk mail folder.
  4. We reserve the right to refuse the use of Indeez services to any User in our absolute discretion.
  5. You are not permitted to assign any of your rights under these Terms of Use without the prior written consent of Indeez SAS. You may not issue press releases or make any public statement regarding your use or participation in the Site without the prior written permission of Indeez SAS.

Registration and Password

To access and use the areas, features and services of the Site and Application restricted to Paid User and/or registered users, you must enter into a Paid Agreement and/or register online providing a unique username and password and other information, as applicable. When entering into a paid Agreement and submitting Registration Information, you agree to:

  1. Provide current, accurate and complete Registration Information;
  2. Keep your Registration Information current and accurate;
  3. Keep your password to yourself and not share it with anyone else;
  4. Accept full responsibility for any and all use of your account;
  5. Immediately notify us of any disclosure or use of your user name or password that is not authorized by this Agreement and to change your password to stop any such further use;
  6. Do not register for more than one account;
  7. Do not create accounts by any automated means, which are hereby expressly prohibited;
  8. Do not use an account, the Site or the Software for any purpose other than the purpose for which it was created and intended to be used Indeez SAS;
  9. Do not use an account, the Site or the Software for any unlawful purpose; and
  10. Do not use an account, the Site or the Software for any commercial purpose except as may be expressly permitted by this Agreement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your username or password. You agree to (i) immediately notify Indeez SAS of any unauthorised use of your username or password or any other breach of security, and (ii) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.

Third Party Content

In regard to all Payments, Content and Services that are not authored by Indeez, Indeez does not screen such third-party content available on Indeez or through other sources. Indeez assumes no responsibility or liability for such third party content.

Applicable law

In the case of customers in the United Kingdom, these Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and in relation to any legal action or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Use, we both irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Indeez (‘we’ or ‘us’, and ‘ours’) is committed to respecting your privacy and we recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of your Personal Data. This Privacy Policy explains how we use Personal Data that we collect about individuals (‘you’ or ‘your’) in relation to our services and on our website (‘Indeez.eu’ and all sub domains) and mobile applications (‘app’).

This Privacy Policy applies to all users creating an account on our website or app as well as to all visitors while browsing our website or app and any individuals using our services or making a claim without creating any account.

Who is Indeez

Our full name is Indeez SAS, listed on the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 888 048 659 and registered as insurance broker in the French ORIAS Register, under number 20006983, to operate in France and in the European Union under the freedom to provide services. In the UK, we are deemed authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Indeez is listed on the financial services register and its FCA number is 938582.

Indeez’ services mainly relate to intermediary activities towards independent workers and digital platforms and businesses that work with self-employed workers (‘the Platforms’). It includes acting as insurance intermediary and taking care of proposing, distributing and managing insurance products.

We take our obligations under data protection laws seriously, including the security of your Personal Data. We use technical, organisational and physical security measures to protect your Personal Data. We also provide training to our staff to help us comply with data protection laws.

What is personal data?

‘Personal Data’ is any information which can be used to identify you or from which you are identifiable. This includes but is not limited to your name, nationality, telephone number, bank and credit card details, personal interests, email address, your image, government-issued identification numbers, biometric data, race, date of birth, marital status, religion, health information, vehicle and insurance information, employment information and financial information.

How do we collect Personal Data?

We collect Personal Data directly from you, including from any application forms you complete, any correspondence you have with us, when you use our website or app, and from the device you use when visiting our website or app.

We may also collect Personal Data about you from other sources, such as:

  • publicly accessible sources;
  • the Platforms, insurance brokers, and other business partners we work with;
  • third party providers (claims handlers, credit reference agencies, screening providers, etc.); and
  • regulators, government agencies and databases.

What personal data does Indeez collect and when?

For all users

During website visit: cookies, internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, language setting, time-zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology devices you use to access our website or apps, including usage data of our website, apps or services. For users creating an Indeez account

During registration: First Name, Last Name, Username & password, Date and place of birth, Country of residence, Email address, Phone number and if relevant, Occupation, Platform name and Platform ID.

For users subscribing an insurance policy

During insurance policy subscription: First Name, Last Name, Date and place of birth, Address, Email address, Phone number, Occupation, Choice of cover and additional Personal Data required to obtain an estimate and conclude the insurance policy (depending on the policy subscribed)

During payment: Billing address, Crediting and debiting and other details of products or services you have purchased from us, including payment card information

For users making a claim (with or without an Indeez account) 

During claims management: First Name, Last Name, Date and place of birth, Country of residence, Email address, Phone number, Platform name and Platform ID, Claims details (such as place and date of the incident), Information relevant to  the Claims which may include but is not limited to:

  • health data such as diagnosis, doctor/hospital certificate, test results, medical expenses
  • national insurance number (only if included in health documents – see above)
  • identity documents
  • police reports
  • photos and videos of the incident representing people images and properties
  • financial data and bank details
  • Any other relevant information including details of your claims history.

Sensitive Personal Data (Special Category or Criminal Offence Data)

Sometimes we may need to collect more sensitive information about you. This may be the case to provide you with your insurance cover, administer your policy, handle your claims and manage any complaints.

Special Category Data includes information relating to your health, genetic or biometric data, sexual orientation, sex life, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs and trade union membership. Criminal Offence data includes any information relating to convictions, criminal activity, allegations, offences, investigations, proceedings and sentences, as well as information relating to the absence of any convictions.

For example, we may collect:

  • Health data – including details of any health conditions, test results, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Criminal data – details of any convictions or the fact that you have no convictions

We may also collect your national insurance number, but only to the extent it is included in the health documentation we need to collect as mentioned above.

Who do we share your Personal Data with?

We may sometimes need to share your Personal Data with other parties in relation to the purposes outlined above.

  5. Our IT service providers (including hosting provider)
  6. Government agencies such as the police, the courts, DVLA – for example based on legal requirements and/or for fraud prevention and detection
  7. Regulatory bodies such as the FCA or Information Commissioner’s Office, or the relevant ombudsman in case of a complaint against our products or services
  8. Those who you consent to represent you (family, friends, lawyers, etc.) within the limits of their powers or role, or within the scope of authorization granted by you
  9. Third parties who provide services for us such as legal advisors, medical experts, technical experts, accountants, auditors

Please note there might be some 3rd party links on our website or app. Clicking on those links will transfer you to their website where different cookies and privacy policies will apply. Indeez does not control these external websites.

How long do we keep your Personal Data for ?

We keep your Personal Data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, and for as long as required to comply with our legal, regulatory, tax or accounting obligations or needs. The specific period for which we retain your Personal Data will depend on the data and the purposes for which we hold it. In some circumstances, you can request that we delete your Personal Data as provided in the section “Your rights” below.

International Data Transfers

Your Personal Data may be transferred outside the UK. When we transfer data outside of the UK, we make sure that the transfer complies with data protection laws to protect your Personal Data and your data protection rights. Marketing and Opting Out

We may use your  Personal Data to send you information about our products and services that we think may be of interest to you. This includes information on the Indeez website or app, or by direct marketing (E-mail, phone call or SMS, social networking channels etc.). We use information we hold about you to help us identify, tailor and package our products and services, and offer discounts that may be of interest to you.

You control our use of your Personal Data for marketing purposes. You can decide what channels we can use and what type of notifications you prefer, if any. You will have the opportunity to select the types of marketing & channels that you would like to receive when you complete registration with us or receive direct marketing. You can change your marketing preferences by “unsubscribing” or “opt out” on the email or at any other time by contacting us at legal@indeez.co.uk.

We will not use sensitive Personal Data (such as information on your health or criminal record) for marketing purposes.

Your rights

Data protection laws provide you with a number of rights in relation to your Personal Data. In most cases, we are required to respond to any request to exercise your rights within one month. Please note that many of these rights are not absolute or may be subject to exemptions in certain circumstances.

Your rights include:

You have the right to be informed on how we collect and use your Personal Data. This Privacy Policy provides you with such information in accordance with the requirements of data protection laws.

  1. The right of access

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether or not we process your Personal Data, and where that is the case, to request:

    • a copy of your Personal Data
    • other supplementary information explaining how we are using your Personal Data, such as: the purposes for which we process your data, the categories of data processed, to whom we share the data with and if it’s transferred outside the UK and European Union, the criteria for determining our retention periods, a reminder of your rights with respect to your Personal Data and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, and where the personal data are not collected from you, where we got it from.

You have the right to ask us to correct or rectify any Personal Data which you believe is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

  1. The right to erasure

In some circumstances, you have the right to request erasure of your Personal Data, for example if we no longer need it for the purpose for which it has been collected, or if you have withdrawn your consent and there is no other legal ground for the processing. However please note that this is not an absolute right and that we’ll not proceed with erasure in all cases. As an example, we will not delete your Personal Data when we continue to have a legal basis to process it. Additionally, we are not allowed to delete data which is required to comply with our legal, regulatory, tax or accounting obligations, such as for fraud prevention and detection.

  1. The right to restrict processing

You may ask us to restrict the processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances (for example, if you believe your Personal Data is inaccurate or if you have objected to us processing your Personal Data on the grounds of our legitimate interests).

  1. The right to object

You can object at any time if you would like us to stop sending you direct marketing. You can also object to some other processing in certain circumstances (such as processing based on our legitimate interests, unless we have overriding compelling grounds to continue the processing).

  1. The right to withdraw consent

If our legal basis for processing your Personal Data is consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Please note however that if you do withdraw your consent, it may not be possible for us to continue providing your insurance policy, processing your claim, handling any queries you may have or your job application.

  1. The right to data portability

The right to data portability allows you to obtain from us in readable format certain Personal Data (that you provided to us) or ask us to provide that information to a third party of your choice. This applies if such Personal Data is processed by us on the basis of your consent or performance of a contract with you.

  1. Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling

If we undertake automated decision making or profiling using your Personal Data (for example an automated decision that you are not eligible for a policy), you have the right to ask us to review that decision with the input of a human being.
