Business Hunter - B2B Partnership Development


Independent work is becoming the new working normal. It will outpace the employed population by 2030. Yet, most independent workers still miss baseline safety net in case of everyday life downsides, which was sadly illustrated during the first COVID lockdown which left millions of gig and freelance workers out of job and revenues for a few months.

Indeez is here to fill the gap and redefine the future of work! We work with gig and freelancer marketplaces to provide income protec8on when workers are not able to work.

We are backed by Mosaic Ventures and seasoned business angels who are supporting our growth.

The founding team consists of business and tech leaders with strong experience in insurance, payments, banking, e-commerce & mobility. We have worked with the top sharing economy and Fortune 100 brands. We’re diverse, international and passionate problem solvers. We are based out of Champs Elysées in Paris. While we love to speak the way our Customers do, English is our working language in the office.

We need your energy and drive to secure great business opportunities with leading European gig and freelance marketplaces. Most importantly you should have a will to win in the market (importantly – fairly and squarely!!) and have fun at the same time. As a sales leader you should be hands-on, autonomous, insatiably curious and a dogged problem-solver! It helps if you have past experience of building innovative partnerships or B2B sales, ideally with top-tier technology/digital companies, financial services firms, Fintechs/Insurtechs and sharing economy players.

You will report directly to the Head of Growth (Founding team member). The position is a Paris based.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Build partnerships that are strategic and profitable!!

Work closely with the founding team and other internal/external stakeholders with the following in mind:

  1. Develop overall B2B partnership strategy for Indeez – that targets various industry ver8cals and key digital players for their independent workers to build disruptive scale. Goal to reach 2M independent workers in 24 months and a 5X prospect pipeline through the B2B clients!
  2. Manage end to end execution of strategic partnerships with new and existing B2B clients against periodic business targets – from identification, prospecting, negotiation and implementation of partnership in target markets and segments.
    • Develop and maintain plans for specific industry verticals which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis – Qualify prospects against Indeez business criteria i.e. scale, target segments etc
    • Engage prospective B2B clients about challenges and requirements of their community, and assess the range of solutions, customer benefits with clear ROI for client and Indeez.
    • Develop a high level of domain knowledge of key digital trends and for various segments such as mobility, sharing economy etc in order to have meaningful engagement with B2B clients.
    • Make compelling presenta8on of Indeez value proposition to clients with astuteness
    • Draft and deliver client proposals working with all internal stakeholder
    • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for Indeez to deliver value, strategic differentiators versus competition, main stakeholders, and forecasted opportunity
  3. Sales effectiveness: Report on business activity, keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions, Provide forecasts on best case and most likely business opportunity over relevant time periods
  4. Work with cross functional teams: Work with operations, technology, product owner and other stakeholders proactively to address customer requirements and problems
  5. Eagle-eyed: Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competative threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by  extending company offerings
  6. Indeez brand ambassador: Be a positive and strong Indeez brand representative in the marketplace and conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: Hunters only apply!

  • You have proven 5+ years of B2B sales and business development experience working in tech, financial services, consulting etc (Farmers please do not apply!!)
  • You are a natural hunter, with amazing sales experience in B2B domain. Bonus if you have an MBA/Masters degree from a top tier school or university
  • You are a fast learner, curious, fail-fast mindset and problem solver that has the will to win and importantly has the will to prepare to win!
  • You are magician with computational and presentation tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, Keynote and Pages – to manage and simplify large amounts of data and present ideas and proposals in compelling manner
  • You have great communication skills: that goes without saying. You are fluent in English: this is our working language. Knowing other EU languages is a plus.
  • You are flexible and organized: we are a young startup. You will design lots of fun things with tight and changing deadlines
  • You are a team player and can work across functional areas: sum is far greater than parts!

  • Contract: full-time contract; Compensa8on: competitive package based on skills and experience
