Senior Solutions Architect

Indeez is here to fill the gap and redefine the future of work! We work with gig and freelancer marketplaces to provide income protection when workers are not able to work

YOUR MISSION: Your ability to create impact is limited only by your ambition!!
Lead the overall tech build and deployment strategy for Indeez marketplace ambition at scale, be able to orchestrate between digital platforms (such as Uber, Airbnb and others), third-party service providers (such as Claims TPA) and insurance carriers.
- Design scalable, secure, and extensible APIs that power timely and relevant data access
- Build cloud solutions utilizing current technologies such as Microservices, REST APIs using languages like NodeJS
- Implement enterprise level requirements like Security; Performance; Deployments; Scaling; Authentication and Authorization as an integral part of the technical design and development.
- Accountable for Architecture snapshot, Application Design, and Prototyping.
- Work collaboratively across the multiple teams to develop solutions, resolve delivery challenges and technical issues. We are a young startup and may need you to extend your accountability beyond a strict architect role
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS - Restless about raising the bar!
> TECHNICAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Microservices design and development, service communication using REST APIs and Message Queues.
- Working experience of AWS tools and services (Lambda, SQS/SNS, SES, S3, CloudWatch/EventsBridge, RDS/DynamoDB)
- Hands on experience on functional decomposition of domain/business rules to define microservices, APIs chaining, orchestration and CRUD operations.
- Exposure to Authentication and Authorization schemes for security using OAuth, OpenID connect or JWT.
- Experience with languages like NodeJS, Angular or other technologies like Spring Boot.
> LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Passionate about Indeez mission to build the largest platform serving independent workers
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a rapid and iterative development environment and ability to lead engineering teams by action. Flexibility will be key in terms of shrinking timelines and evolving customer needs (remember: we are b2b2c)
- Setting right coding standards and review cultures in the teams by leading from the front. Ahtude to mentor teams, senior ICs, remote geo-distributed teams
- Big picture strategic thinking. Strong written and verbal communication skills to persuade senior technical leadership.
- Curiosity to go out of comfort zone to learn new skills, collaborate with colleagues without direct authority, towards problem solving and meeting Indeez goals
> QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 7+ years of software design and development experience; broad-based IT experience successfully implemen8ng complex IT applications and/or developing efficient, effective solutions to diverse and complex set of business problems.
- 7+ years architecture and hands-on development experience in integra8ons/API space. Experience with one or more programming languages for API/Services development
- Fundamental understanding of software development lifecycle including Agile
- Undergraduate or above degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Past experience in insurance or financial services would be a cherry on the cake
